Join us as we attend the acclaimed magical, lyrical, annual miracle, the PMO Christmas show. Now in its 77th year, the Purdue Musical Organizations Christmas Show is one of Indiana’s most beloved holiday traditions. The show continues to delight audiences in the Elliott Hall of Music, a sister facility to the Radio City Music Hall. We will have reserved seats on the main floor. The show is conceived, produced, directed and performed by the staff and students of all the Purdue Musical Organizations. Five talented ensembles include; the Purdue Varsity Glee Club, The Purduettes, University Choir, Purdue Bell Choir and PMO Express. The extravaganza showcases some of Purdue’s best and brightest students. Creating a magical atmosphere with innovative staging, choreography, costuming and special effects, the blend of traditional holiday classics and new arrangements enchants children of all ages. A favorite part of the concert is the Traditional Carol Sing, in which the audience participates. One of the most popular segments of this treasured program is the sacred Cantata, featuring the combined voices of PMO in an inspirational setting, which provides a fitting tribute to the glory and majesty of this most blessed time of year. After the show we go to the Trails Banquet Facility in the Lafayette for a holiday buffet. The buffet will include; Caesar salad, roast turkey and dressing, cranberry relish, roast pork loin, au gratin potatoes, green beans, California blend vegetables, rolls and butter, assorted fruit pies and beverage (coffee, tea and milk). A cash bar will also be available.
